Rijk's Private Cellar is based in Tulbagh, a Western Cape valley where warm days and cooling influences can combine ripeness with freshness. The estate works with varieties including Chenin Blanc, a grape that gives South Africa both bright, energetic and richly textured white wines. Rijk's is associated with wines of ripe fruit, concentration and a clear regional character.
