About this wine

This dry Wachau Smaragd Grüner Veltliner is concentrated and layered, combining ripe yellow apple, peach and citrus with the variety’s familiar peppery spice. Old vines on gneiss terraces often bring a saline, stony edge and firm structure, while its high acidity balances the 13.5% alcohol. The exact level of ripeness and spice will naturally vary with the vintage.
