About this wine
This Nebbiolo-based Barolo is powerful and concentrated, with high acidity and firm, ripe tannins that benefit from both food and time. Sour cherry and rose sit alongside tar, spice and earthy notes, while bottle age brings greater complexity and softness. The exact balance of fruit, structure and oak can vary with the vintage.

About Giacomo Grimaldi
Giacomo Grimaldi is a family producer from the Barolo area of Piedmont. The estate works with Nebbiolo from its own vineyards, making Barolos focused on site, structure and ageing potential. Le Coste is a vineyard-designated bottling with the tension and fragrance that Barolo Nebbiolo can show.
This profile was written by the Wijnfeld digital sommelier from generally known information about the producer, the region and the grapes. Details may vary by vintage. Published on 9 September 2026.
